Test Code URCIF Urinalysis Complete, Culture If Indicated

Additional Codes

EPIC LAB4279

Clinical Significance

Urinalysis is a rapid method of semi-quantitatively examining a urine specimen for the most common chemicals excreted by the kidney. Urinalysis is used for diagnosis and management of renal and urinary tract disease, and for detection of certain metabolic or systemic diseases not directly related to the kidney.
