Purpose
For the detection of enterobius vermicularis parasitic infection.

Direct microscopic examination
Sample Type
Star-Plex Sterile Pinworm Paddle - Optimal time for obtaining sample is early in the morning immediately after the patient wakes. Remove cap with sticky paddle from vial and press sticky side of paddle (marked ADH) to perianal skin of patient with moderate pressure. Replace cap and return to laboratory.
