Clinical Significance
Phenobarbital is indicated for the treatment of status epilepticus, febrile seizures and seizure disorders (grand mal and psychomotor), except absence (petit mal) siezures. Phenobarbital therapy is monitored for suspected inadequate dose or toxicity.
